ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY FOR OCEAN INTELLIGENCE

CUTTING-EDGE SOLUTIONS FOR UNDERWATER OPERATIONS

Breakthrough Innovation in ROV & AUV Drone Technology

We are developing breakthrough innovations in the field of underwater robotics, focusing on next-generation ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) and AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) systems.

ROV – Tethered Precision
Our ROV platforms operate via cable connection, allowing real-time piloting, continuous surface-powered operation, and live video streaming. Their operational depth is defined by tether length, ensuring stable and controlled missions for inspection, intervention, and research.

AUV – Autonomous Exploration
Our AUV systems operate without cables, enabling full autonomy and extended freedom of movement. Designed for high-endurance missions and greater depths, they collect and store mission data, which is retrieved and analyzed upon completion.

We work in close collaboration with leading universities and research institutions, continuously developing new technological solutions to push the boundaries of underwater exploration.

Customer proximity is at the core of our philosophy. We design and tailor each system to meet specific operational requirements, delivering fully customized solutions that respond precisely to every need.

Business Development – Thalix Sentinel & ROV/AUV Academy

Thomas Bleiner is an industrial strategist, professional racing driver and technology developer with a background in advanced engineering systems, propulsion architectures, and patented optical and energy technologies.

In 2009, proprietary laser and optical systems developed under his leadership were industrially transferred to the automotive sector, including collaboration with Audi. This milestone reflects a core operating principle:

Engineering must scale. Innovation must industrialize.

Over the years, Bleiner has developed and structured multiple patented technologies in:

  • Advanced propulsion systems
  • Multi-fuel and hydrogen-based energy platforms
  • Graphene-enhanced battery architectures
  • High-efficiency power management systems

These technologies are now being integrated into the next generation of ROV and AUV industrial platforms, with focus on:

  • Increased thrust efficiency
  • Extended underwater endurance
  • Higher energy density
  • Thermal stability
  • Operational robustness

As Business Development Director of Thalix Sentinel and the ROV & AUV School (Sardinia, 2026), he aligns:

  • Intellectual property strategy
  • Industrial partnerships
  • University collaboration
  • Technology transfer
  • Market deployment

The objective is clear:

Position Thalix Sentinel as a European industrial reference in underwater propulsion, energy systems, and autonomous marine platforms.

Head of Graphic & 3D Development

Thalix Sentinel & Mako ROV/AUV School, Francesca Bonatta is a senior graphic designer and 3D modeling specialist with extensive experience in the automotive sector.

With many years of professional activity in high-performance industrial environments, she has consistently supported engineering and development teams through advanced visual communication, technical modeling, and design validation processes.

Within Thalix Sentinel and the Mako ROV/AUV School, she is responsible for:

  • All corporate graphic development
  • Industrial visual identity
  • Technical 3D modeling and part design
  • Prototyping support structures
  • Internal validation of new components

Her expertise bridges communication and engineering.

Francesca designs and manufactures, through advanced 3D printing technologies, functional supports and mechanical components used in the early development stages of ROV and AUV systems. This internal capability significantly accelerates the R&D cycle, allowing:

  • Rapid prototyping
  • Immediate structural validation
  • Functional testing before industrial production
  • Design optimization with direct engineering feedback

Her recent specialization in additive manufacturing has strengthened the company’s ability to internalize critical development phases, reducing external dependency and increasing innovation speed.

Francesca plays a fundamental role in the advancement of the R&D laboratory, ensuring that every new component undergoes structural and practical validation before moving to industrial production.

Her contribution combines precision, technical sensitivity, and industrial discipline — essential elements in the development of next-generation underwater platforms.
