Thomas Bleiner is an industrial strategist, professional racing driver and technology developer with a background in advanced engineering systems, propulsion architectures, and patented optical and energy technologies.

In 2009, proprietary laser and optical systems developed under his leadership were industrially transferred to the automotive sector, including collaboration with Audi. This milestone reflects a core operating principle:

Thalix Sentinel & Mako ROV/AUV School, Francesca Bonatta is a senior graphic designer and 3D modeling specialist with extensive experience in the automotive sector.

With many years of professional activity in high-performance industrial environments, she has consistently supported engineering and development teams through advanced visual communication, technical modeling, and design validation processes.

Within Thalix Sentinel and the Mako ROV/AUV School, she is responsible for:

  • All corporate graphic development
  • Industrial visual identity
  • Technical 3D modeling and part design
  • Prototyping support structures
  • Internal validation of new components

Her expertise bridges communication and engineering.

Francesca designs and manufactures, through advanced 3D printing technologies, functional supports and mechanical components used in the early development stages of ROV and AUV systems. This internal capability significantly accelerates the R&D cycle, allowing:

Head of CAD Design & Molds Production – Thalix Sentinel


Senior CAD specialist and surface modeling expert with over 30 years of experience in advanced 3D design and reverse engineering across automotive and industrial sectors. Since 1993 he has specialized in parametric CAD modeling, development of mathematical 3D surfaces and CAM toolpaths for mold manufacturing.

At Thalix Sentinel he oversees the entire engineering pipeline, from concept-to-mathematical model conversion, surface validation and mold development to prototype verification and final production approval, ensuring geometric accuracy and manufacturing readiness of all components.

Throughout his career he has contributed to numerous high-profile automotive and industrial projects, including developments for Aprilia Racing, Moto Guzzi, BMW, Lamborghini, Momo, Speedline and other major engineering programs.

His expertise in advanced surface modeling, reverse engineering and production validation provides the technical backbone for the structural development of Thalix Sentinel’s ROV and AUV platforms.

Luigi Secondin brings more than thirty years of executive and advisory experience across the banking, financial services, insurance, credit intermediation and real estate development sectors, with a strong background in strategic consulting, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Following his success in a national public competitive examination, he began his professional journey in the banking sector and subsequently qualified as a Financial Advisor. Over the years, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, leading the establishment and growth of operational structures for investment firms (SIMs), serving as Managing Director of companies active in publishing, television production, marketing and communications, and contributing to major real estate development initiatives.

For many years, he has combined his professional activities with a deep passion for diving and the protection of aquatic environments, with a particular focus on ecosystem conservation, the promotion of knowledge and awareness of the underwater world, and the advancement of marine and underwater technologies supporting scientific research, environmental monitoring, human safety and services dedicated to underwater activities.

He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione MAU, contributing to initiatives dedicated to animal welfare and to strengthening the relationship between animals and the people who care for them, sharing principles of responsibility, respect and sustainability.

His vision integrates managerial expertise, innovation, social responsibility and environmental stewardship, promoting a culture of diving founded on knowledge, conservation and the responsible enhancement of aquatic heritage through the development of skills and technologies serving the environment, human safety and the sustainable growth of underwater activities.
