BLUENOVA ROV & AUV SCHOOL

Training the Next Generation of Ocean Explorers
- Launching June 2026 in Sardinia -

We are proud to announce the launch in June 2026 of our ROV & AUV School in Sardinia — a center of excellence dedicated to the training and certification of underwater vehicle pilots.

The school is led by Guido Scarpati, son of the legendary Massimo Scarpati — one of the most celebrated figures in the underwater world, widely regarded as Italy’s greatest freediver and champion of spearfishing. Massimo won multiple Italian, European, and World titles in competitive underwater sports and was honored with prestigious recognitions, including the Medaglia d’Oro al valore atletico and the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica.

With full academic authorization to run advanced certification programs, our school brings rigorous training and real-world expertise together. We aim to become an international hub for ocean knowledge, excellence in research, and professional leadership in the management of all future underwater activities.

Despite having mapped nearly 99% of the surface of our planet, the underwater world remains still vastly unexplored — a frontier that holds immense scientific, industrial, and environmental promise.

Our mission is to equip today’s innovators with the skills, certification, and mindset to unlock this frontier — from piloting cutting-edge ROVs tethered to real-time control and live video, to mastering autonomous AUV systems designed for deep, long-duration missions.
